Halloween Hangover: Rhythm Candies

Sigh. It is one of those years. The kind where Halloween night falls on a school night. I am always trying to think of activities to do "the day after", when the kids are tired but excited and full of sugar. I created a SMARTboard activity for the Grade 1's that I think might hold their attention. In this activity, the kids sort their Halloween candies into bags by matching the word sounds to the rhythms on the bags. I have bigger ideas for this, and will post a new version of the file when it is done, but alas it is time for bed!
